Very large, native to Central and South Florida and the American Tropics
Does not infest structures but will fly from trees into open windows or doors
Colonies often live in live trees
Swarmer wing with four or more reddish brown veins, body reddish brown
Soldier head is orange, third segment of antennae barely enlarged
Swarms during evenings in late fall
